Erika is a health and wellness enthusiast, passionate about all things nature! Living in the city can be incredibly taxing, and the stress definitely showed in Erika’s hair. Her concerns were restoring its health and encouraging regrowth, held back by constant heat applications, friction damage, and hair loss from unhealthy diets and products. As Erika worked to incorporate nature in her daily life, she sought to surround herself with natural products to stay in tune with nature everyday. HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE THE TEXTURE OF YOUR HAIR?
My hair is on the fluffy side. It’s now healthy and strong and oh so very shiny. I get compliments on how soft it is too!
HOW DID YOU TAKE CARE OF YOUR HAIR BEFORE THE INTRODUCTION OF THE INNATE LIFE PRODUCTS?
Prior to using The Innate Life products, I had a diet that wasn’t doing my body any good, and it showed significantly in my hair. I would use heat on it on a regular basis, aggressively brush it while wet, and use products with all sorts of chemicals that I truly didn’t understand.
WHAT MADE YOU SEEK OUT THE INNATE LIFE PRODUCTS? HOW DID YOU HEAR ABOUT THE COMPANY?
I knew what I was doing just wasn’t going to work long-term to get me the hair goals I have been wanting. No other products I found and used made any real or significant change in my hair. So I started following other girls on social media who had absolutely incredible beautiful hair and finding out what they used. I learned about The Innate Life through YouTuber Sara Nagel from Holistic Habits, and knew I couldn’t go wrong. Long story short: I haven’t looked back since!

WHAT IS YOUR HAIRCARE ROUTINE NOW?
For over a year, I have been washing my hair twice a week, and use the Scalp Treatment for normal scalp which I massage into my scalp for about five minutes and leave on for at least an hour before washing it out. I don’t use any heat on my hair, nor do I wash my hair in hot water; I try to keep it on the cool side. I also let my hair air dry, after which I use the Rose Hair Elixir for the ends of my hair and oh boy, have I seen a major difference in the split ends I get. It’s hands down the only hair elixir that works at taming frizz but most importantly, preventing split ends!
HOW DID YOU SEE YOUR HAIR CHANGE AFTER USING THE INNATE LIFE PRODUCTS?
Truly night and day. The thing about hair is everyone wants immediate results, and unless you get hair extensions, immediate results do not exist. However, products from The Innate Life have brought relatively quick results! Hair growth takes time, discipline, and effort. If you are going to put all three of those things to work, then you might as well do so with products that will also work just as hard. My hair has truly sprouted out of my head; my mom asked me if I gave myself bangs a few months ago because of all the new hair growth around my face! No bangs were cut, just tons of new layers of hair growing thick and silky and super, super healthy.
WHICH IS YOUR FAVOURITE PRODUCT AND WHY?
The first product I used was the Scalp Treatment for normal hair and it’s my holy grail. I like to say it’s fertilizer for your scalp. Jam-packed with nutrients, your hair won’t be able to stop growing. It’s super easy to use, smells good, washes out easily, and is just an overall A+ product.
WHO WOULD YOU RECOMMEND THESE PRODUCTS TO?
Absolutely everyone regardless of your hair goals. Even if you already have gorgeous, thick, and healthy hair. These products stabilize your hair growth and provide long-term health for your hair and scalp. I can’t imagine anyone not wanting that!

Seamlessly! I try to use as many natural products in my life as possible, as I have personally found the best results by doing so.
