A thriller/fantasy author residing in Canada, Katie spends her time working on books and film grants, travelling, reading non-fiction and fiction, and being with her cats! Her hair journey beginning with brittle hair, Katie sought out natural products that encourage hair growth. After taking the step to ditch expensive brands that worked to straighten hair, Katie began trimming her hair and incorporating the use of organic products. This helped her find that her natural hair is actually curly! With this new discovery, Katie focused primarily on encouraging her hair growth and shine, enhancing her newfound hair texture. HOW DID YOU TAKE CARE OF YOUR HAIR BEFORE THE INTRODUCTION OF THE INNATE LIFE PRODUCTS?
I used expensive brands to smooth and straighten my hair. It wasn’t until I noticed the curl pattern around my crown (thanks to using The Innate Life’s Scalp Treatment) that I began embracing my curls, and I desperately wanted to grow my hair longer.

WHAT IS YOUR HAIRCARE ROUTINE NOW?
I no longer use heat tools and religiously use The Innate Life’s Scalp Treatment (twice a week). I also use the Rose Hair Elixir on my hair to seal in my leave-in conditioner.
HOW DID YOU SEE YOUR HAIR CHANGE AFTER USING THE INNATE LIFE PRODUCTS?
My hair is healthier, shinier, stronger, and reverting back to its natural curl pattern because of The Innate Life. It doesn’t feel as dry and it grows a lot faster than if I didn’t use the Scalp Treatment.
WHICH IS YOUR FAVOURITE PRODUCT AND WHY?
My favourite product is the Scalp Treatment because of the fresh smell and tingling sensation on the scalp, and it’s an excuse to take a spa morning twice a week!

As someone who likes to be on the go and struggles to slow down, taking the time to treat myself with a scalp massage has been wonderful. I’ve learned to pay attention to my body and my hair’s needs since getting into a regular routine with the Scalp Treatment!
