Her beautiful long hair has always been a high inspiration to us, so it's about time we feature her in our Guest Blog! Haircare has become a huge passion of Lindsay's over the past few years. She had a terrible experience at a salon about 6 years ago where she had dyed her bleached blonde hair brown, and then 2 weeks later bleached it back, and it fell out by the handfuls. Absolutely devastating, but she very quickly admired women with very long, healthy hair. That is when she really took interest and began her research, trial and error!
HOW DID YOU TAKE CARE OF YOUR HAIR BEFORE THE INTRODUCTION OF THE INNATE LIFE PRODUCTS?
Before I finally found The Innate Life, I was using products that said 'natural, organic' from Walmart and different places, but turns out when I began to study ingredients, they had sulfates, silicones, and chemicals that were harming my hair – only portraying healthier hair instead of actually making my hair/scalp healthy! Most shampoos irritated my scalp so badly, causing it to get red, itchy, and flaky until The Innate Life!
WHAT MADE YOU SEEK OUT THE INNATE LIFE PRODUCTS? HOW DID YOU HEAR ABOUT THE COMPANY?
When I started my Instagram hair page, I began to recommend other hair care pages. I then began to follow several pages that were based around organic hair care because I just wasn’t finding any on my own. I then came across several women using The Innate Life with amazing results, so I then had to try!

The Innate Life is unlike any other hair care line...it is 100% organic and includes herbal products that are VERY effective. I have seen hair growth and hair health like never before after beginning this haircare line. After I started The Innate Life haircare, I honestly can’t turn back. They make my scalp feel invigorating, and my hair so hydrated and healthy in the hottest and coldest months! So many companies claim to be organic, or natural, but still are filled with chemicals. The Innate Life ACTUALLY leaves your hair at its absolute best!
WHAT IS YOUR HAIRCARE ROUTINE NOW?
I limit washing as much as possible, at a rate of twice per week.
PRE-WASH
Before each wash, I gently brush through my hair and get it damp or wet. I then apply the Scalp Treatment from The Innate Life using the inversion method, and also apply the Herbal Hair Mask to my ends (I personally feel that it goes on much better damp). I put my hair in a silk shower cap and leave it overnight for best results!
DURING WASH
Then the next morning, I shampoo my scalp only twice and just let the suds run through my ends and don’t scrub them! I wash my scalp twice because it is sulfate-free and takes a second wash to lather and remove the oil-based scalp treatment! Then I follow with The Innate Life Herbal Conditioner (discontinued), leave about 3-5 minutes, and rinse with cold water to seal my hair. I wrap my hair in a microfiber towel to be more gentle on my hair.
POST-WASH
I let it air dry almost completely and then apply the Neroli Hair Primer all over my hair. Then I use a few drops of The Rose Hair Elixir, followed by the Leave-In Conditioner to seal in the Elixir. I let it finish air drying before combing through very gently from tip to root. Then I am left with super shiny, healthy, and hydrated hair.
HOW DID YOU SEE YOUR HAIR CHANGE AFTER USING THE INNATE LIFE PRODUCTS?
Before The Innate Life, I was experiencing an oily scalp, but dry ends. Now I feel like my hair is so much more well-balanced. My scalp is in much better health and my ends are so hydrated and healthy!
WHICH IS YOUR FAVOURITE PRODUCT AND WHY?
It is extremely hard to choose just one favorite, but it would definitely be between the Scalp Treatment and the Rose Hair Elixir! The Elixir conditions and shines my hair containing frizz, and the Scalp Treatment is so invigorating and has stimulated my hair growth amazingly!
