HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE THE TEXTURE OF YOUR HAIR?
HOW DID YOU TAKE CARE OF YOUR HAIR BEFORE THE INTRODUCTION OF THE INNATE LIFE PRODUCTS?
WHAT MADE YOU SEEK OUT THE INNATE LIFE PRODUCTS? HOW DID YOU HEAR ABOUT THE COMPANY?
I first heard about The Innate Life through a few YouTube videos (specifically holistichabits and OrganicallyAnna). I started watching their videos for hair growth tips and was trying a lot of the products they mentioned on their channels. I chose to try The Innate Life because I really liked the ingredients lists on their products and thought their products were affordable, as well as a sustainable, option.
WHAT SETS THE INNATE LIFE APART FROM OTHER COMPANIES IN THE BEAUTY INDUSTRY?
WHAT IS YOUR HAIRCARE ROUTINE NOW?
My haircare routine is pretty specific and I don’t really deviate from it. I wash my hair twice a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays. I try to keep my hair in a protective hairstyle, usually a braid or double braids, most days. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, I always oil my hair with the Rose Hair Elixir (usually 3-4 drops) focusing on the shaft and the ends of my hair. I wear my hair in a double braid because that is when it is the oiliest and the double braid helps to hide that! Then the Rose Hair Elixir can really soak into my hair all day and leaves it shiny and smelling AMAZING! I also like to use the Rose Hair Elixir whenever my hair is feeling dry and needs a boost or maybe massage a few drops into my ends before bed some nights. I always sleep with my hair in a protective braid.
When I wash my hair mid-week, I go in with the Herbal Shampoo, focusing the lather on my scalp and washing any oil or build up out. I follow that up with the Herbal Conditioner (discontinued) for thin to normal hair, focusing on the shafts and the ends of my hair. I let that sit on my hair while I finish up washing my body or shaving or whatever (usually about 4-5 minutes). Then I wash it out and let my hair air dry.
Sundays are when I do a full pamper routine for my hair. I part my hair section by section to apply the Scalp Treatment for Intense Hydration and Repair (normal scalp) on to my scalp and massage it in. Any leftover product on my hands I like to rub into the hair closest to my scalp or even on my fingernail beds. After that, I apply a generous amount of the Herbal Hair Mask to my hair shafts and ends, really trying to focus it on my ends. After I have applied the Herbal Hair Mask, I put my hair up into a secure bun and let it sink into my hair for a minimum of 3-4 hours. After it has been in for several hours I will go in and wash my hair the same as I do mid-week, except I will shampoo my hair twice to make sure my hair is nice and clean.
I’ve noticed that this specific routine has worked the best for my hair and has given me amazing results!
