After bleaching her hair a few years back, she quickly began to realize and learn the harsh effects that chemicals have on the hair. HOW DID YOU TAKE CARE OF YOUR HAIR BEFORE THE INTRODUCTION OF THE INNATE LIFE PRODUCTS?
Before using The Innate Life products, I used to believe I had to go to a salon to have nice hair. I used shampoos and conditioners that contained parabens and sulfates. My hair felt coarse and frizzy, even before it was bleached. After I bleached my hair, I began to experience issues with my scalp.
WHAT IS YOUR HAIRCARE ROUTINE NOW?
DURING WASH
My hair routine includes washing my hair twice a week with The Innate Life Herbal Shampoo and Conditioner (discontinued). Once my hair is dampened in the shower, I use The Innate Life Shampoo and lather it into my scalp. Once I wash off the shampoo, I place The Innate Life Conditioner (discontinued) on the middle to the ends of my hair. I wait around 10 minutes to let the conditioner work its magic and then I wash it off.
PRE-WASH + POST-WASH
Right after I step out of the shower, I spray on the Neroli Hair Primer to hydrate my hair and seal the cuticles. My hair routine incorporates hair masks as well which I do once a week. I alternate between oils such as castor oil and coconut oil and The Innate Life Herbal Hair Mask for my weekly hair mask. I always wash my hair before applying the hair mask. Once my hair is clean, I massage the oil/mask on my scalp as well as the ends of my hair. I leave this on for four hours and then wash it off. This adds extra shine and makes my hair feel immaculately soft. For a pick-me-up in between each wash, I love to use The Innate Life Rose Hair Elixir. I drop a tiny droplet of the Elixir into my hand and rub it with both of my hands. Just a tiny droplet of this goes a very long way. Once my hands have the Elixir distributed evenly, I begin to rub into my hair.
HOW DID YOU SEE YOUR HAIR CHANGE AFTER USING THE INNATE LIFE PRODUCTS?
I bought The Innate Life Shampoo, Conditioner (discontinued), and Scalp Treatment to heal my hair. After using the Scalp Treatment for the first time, my scalp issues disappeared. Ecstatic, I continuously used The Innate Life Herbal Shampoo and Conditioner (discontinued) and began to see the difference within a month. My frizzy hair transformed into bouncy soft curls. My bleached hair felt much softer than my virgin hair – all because of the difference in the products I was using. My friends would be stunned to see my bleached hair be softer and shinier than my hair before. My hair feels properly hydrated and smooth to the touch. I can wash my hair and feel like I went to the salon when it dries.
WHICH IS YOUR FAVOURITE PRODUCT AND WHY?
My favorite product is the Neroli Hair Primer because it always ensures that there is no buildup in my hair after I wash out the hair masks. I use this product every time I wash my hair, whether I’m doing a hair mask or not, as it helps detangle my hair and makes it soft.
