HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE THE TEXTURE OF YOUR HAIR?
Humayra takes great pride in her long, straight medium brown hair. However, she struggles with breakage and frizzy baby hairs around the front of her hairline.
HOW DID YOU TAKE CARE OF YOUR HAIR BEFORE THE INTRODUCTION OF THE INNATE LIFE PRODUCTS?
I would make my own masks at home with basic ingredients such as egg yolks, milk, yogurt, raw honey, etc. A downfall from this is that I found it to be very difficult to remove when showering. It would strip the moisture it was supposed to add which was initially what I made the mask for. I then later stopped making them as I found it too difficult to wash out as well as the unpleasant lingering smell.
WHAT MADE YOU SEEK OUT THE INNATE LIFE PRODUCTS? HOW DID YOU HEAR ABOUT THE COMPANY?
I researched organic and natural hair products on YouTube to find many people suggesting the brand. I researched it further and found that it was clean and safe for me to use. I also found that there were products that targeted my hair type such as thin to normal.
WHAT SETS THE INNATE LIFE APART FROM OTHER COMPANIES IN THE BEAUTY INDUSTRY?
The brand provides ingredients that have been extensively researched such as Amla, an antioxidant that provides a high dose of vitamin C to strengthen hair follicles and stimulate hair growth. The brand also has an array of products that are accessible and affordable, rather than purchasing one item from one brand and other products from another brand which I honestly find time-consuming. The Innate Life is a brand I trust that caters a variety of products. I choose to commit to the brand and the products for my hair care routine.
WHAT IS YOUR HAIRCARE ROUTINE NOW?
PRE-WASH
Once a week I apply the Herbal Hair Mask and leave it on overnight, as well as the Scalp Treatment. I find when I leave these in my hair to marinate, it coats my hair and softens it more than it would do if I left it in for an hour or so.
DURING WASH
When I enter the shower, I allow the tepid water to further soak the masks within my hair then use the Herbal Shampoo to cleanse the scalp first then let the remainder of the product to wash out. Depending on if I use the hair mask or not, I apply the Conditioner (discontinued) to my ends for further nourishment.
POST-WASH
This step can be covered by the Rose Hair Elixir that I apply when my hair is half wet/dry and I make sure to thoroughly apply it through my ends and briefly on my roots/baby hairs. With a wooden brush, I then comb my hair to ensure even distribution of the oil.
HOW DID YOU SEE YOUR HAIR CHANGE AFTER USING THE INNATE LIFE PRODUCTS?
After using the Herbal Hair Mask, I found my hair after washing being very silky and sleek. I felt there was no need for further products to be used. That for me is a relief as I like to use as little products as possible. The Scalp Treatment has immensely helped my scalp with dandruff as it cleanses it from weeks' worth of activates (gym, natural sebum production, etc.) but does not strip it further for it to become more oily and flaky. The Rose Hair Elixir is truly a miracle as it's the main reason of how I discovered the brand. I was in search of a hair oil that I could apply after washes that did not leave an oily greasy residue and allowed me to nourish my frizz and baby hairs, which have grown a reasonable amount since using the product.
WHICH IS YOUR FAVOURITE PRODUCT AND WHY?
In all honesty, all the products have a specific role in my hair care routine for which I can not only choose one. The Scalp Treatment cleanses and treats my scalp, the Herbal Hair Mask keeps my hair nourished in between trims, the Rose Hair Elixir allows me to tame as well as treat my baby hairs/frizz/breakage with oils that have been selected to do so. The Shampoo and Conditioner (discontinued) is a simple regime that I can rely on even without the mask/treatment.
WHO WOULD YOU RECOMMEND THESE PRODUCTS TO?
I would recommend this brand to anyone who is in search of products that contain ingredients that target hair issues that need to be resolved naturally, as well as promote regrowth as the brand targets and meets a range of issues with products that all individuals can incorporate into their hair care routine.

I am currently on a transition to use products that are organic and safe, as researching into the benefits of using products made from natural ingredients rather than synthetics and harmful toxins.
