I am blessed to live on the island of Kauai so my interests and passions are deeply connected to nature. I enjoy swimming with wild dolphins when they are around, hiking in the lush forests, and doing my best to capture the beauty around me with my paint brush and canvas.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE THE TEXTURE OF YOUR HAIR?
Very thick, coarse, and curly.
HOW DID YOU TAKE CARE OF YOUR HAIR BEFORE THE INTRODUCTION OF THE INNATE LIFE PRODUCTS?
I washed my hair using organic shampoo and conditioner, and for styling, I used a styling lotion and organic argan oil.
WHAT MADE YOU SEEK OUT THE INNATE LIFE PRODUCTS? HOW DID YOU HEAR ABOUT THE COMPANY?
My hair was getting damaged from the ocean, and braiding it too tight. I also lost about one fourth of my hair from stress. I found holistichabits who promoted the Rose Hair Elixir and convinced me to give it a try.

WHAT IS YOUR HAIRCARE ROUTINE NOW?
I use the Rose Hair Elixir after I wash my hair, put it on damp hair, and either braid it into French pigtails or scrunch my hair with a shaping lotion and air dry for my natural curls to shine. I use the Hair Mask once a week and leave it on for an hour before shampooing. Then I use the Rose Hair Elixir in the morning and night to define my curls and moisturize.
HOW DID YOU SEE YOUR HAIR CHANGE AFTER USING THE INNATE LIFE PRODUCTS?
I have mostly stopped using other styling creams and enjoy how soft and shiny my hair is with just the daily use of the Rose Hair Elixir. My hair feels luxuriously soft instead of how it normally feels – like coarse horsehair. My scalp has become very healthy as well as a ton of new hair growth. I also really look forward to using it at night for the aromatherapy; it makes me happy and relaxed every time I use it.
WHICH IS YOUR FAVOURITE PRODUCT AND WHY?
The Rose Hair Elixir is my favourite so far. My husband uses the Scalp Treatment for his hair loss treatment and loves it. The reasons I love it is because it defines and adds shine to my curls. Changing the coarse texture to a silk. The smell is probably my favourite aspect. I’m really into rose right now, so that sold me from the beginning.
WHO WOULD YOU RECOMMEND THESE PRODUCTS TO?
Everyone, but especially those with unruly thick and curly hair.
