MEET SARAH
Hi! I'm Sarah and I absolutely love the outdoors! Skiing, hiking, climbing, camping, kayaking, swimming...anything that gets me outside! I've always wanted long hair, ever since I was a little girl. For some reason, I could never grow my hair past a certain length and I always thought that it was because I didn't have the genetics for long hair. Then I discovered haircare techniques online and with a little bit of time and patience, I was able to achieve long hair! I went from having waist-length hair to hair that reaches down a little bit past my tailbone (when it's straightened). The Innate Life helped especially in taming my frizzy hair and making it look shinier and better kept.
HOW DID YOU CARE FOR YOUR HAIR BEFORE USING THE INNATE LIFE?
I used to wash my hair with regular drugstore shampoo and conditioner for the longest time. I didn't do much else to it besides shampoo and condition, I let it do whatever it wanted.
WHAT MADE YOU SEEK OUT THE INNATE LIFE? HOW DID YOU HEAR ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS?
I eventually switched to other products that helped me to care for my hair and stumbled across The Innate Life on Instagram one day. I was hesitant to buy for the longest time but there were so many positive reviews on their products from legitimate people. I thought that I'd really like to try it out and buy some of their products as gifts for friends who struggled with psoriasis and hair loss, respectively.
WHAT IS YOUR HAIRCARE ROUTINE NOW?
My friend tried their Problematic Scalp Treatment and it apparently made a big difference to her scalp health, so I wanted to try it too! I don't have any scalp issues, but I'm always interested in scalp care regardless.
PRE-WASH
I do hair treatments before every wash day (I wash my hair once a week), sometimes I alternate with the Problematic Scalp Treatment and another brand’s scalp serum, and sometimes I use a honey-based hair mask that I make myself.
POST-WASH
After I wash and condition with another brand’s products, I put a hair moisturizer in my hair which my hair loves (but I wouldn't recommend this for anyone with very fine, thin hair), and then I finish off with either Argan oil or The Innate Life's Rose Hair Elixir. I use either of those oils on my ends daily throughout the week.
HOW DID YOUR HAIR CHANGE + HOW LONG DID IT TAKE FOR YOU TO SEE RESULTS?
After using the Problematic Scalp Treatment, my scalp felt nourished right away. I imagine it must have a very soothing effect on anyone who has scalp issues such as dry scalp and/or psoriasis. The Rose Hair Elixir also showed me results right away – my curls/waves are much easier to manage and less likely to get tangled, my frizz gets reduced, and my hair has a nice shine to it. It has also helped with preventing my ends from breaking off as much and my hair has grown much longer and faster than I had thought was possible for me.
WHICH IS YOUR FAVOURITE PRODUCT + WHY?
My favourite product is definitely the Rose Hair Elixir. I think it is the main thing that has supported my hair growth. Before, I was not taking care of my ends at all, and now that I am, my hair has been able to grow while maintaining the length that was already there! I definitely recommend oiling your ends daily if you're looking to grow your hair. You don't need a lot, just a few drops will do.
WHO WOULD YOU RECOMMEND THESE PRODUCTS TO?
I recommend The Innate Life to long or healthy hair enthusiasts and people who may struggle with scalp health and/or hair loss issues. I've seen how their products benefit both groups of people and it's refreshing to see a company whose products actually work in comparison with all the many scammy hair care advertisements that are out there.
